“Mark, will your new book be available in time for the holiday shopping season?”
That’s the breathless, desperate question I’m getting every single day, from pretty much everybody, including complete strangers. Often, I am grasped by my lapels and shaken while being asked. Vigorously!
The answer is: Yes. Absolutely. And take your hands off me.

I find the roadkill graphic insensitive and pretty offensive.
I find the roadkill amusing as I have been running past a dead racoon for the past week and a half. One day I forgot it was there and when I saw it I was startled and then I remembered what it was.
May I point out that these two runners are obviously not very smart for two reasons. 1) They are running down the middle of the road (and on the wrong side of the middle – unless, of course, it is a closed course race) and 2) when you see a dead skunk you run as far around that bad boy as possible! The book, however, looks very clever…
Oops – they are on the correct side of the road! My mind is still on holiday!
